CONSENT FOR RESEARCH PARTICIPATION

I ___ (“I” and “participant”) confirm my voluntary participation in research (“Research”) to be conducted in February 2026 by Gemic Oy and its affiliates (“Gemic”). I also confirm that the identification I have shown is factual and that the answers I have provided prior to my participation and will give in conjunction with my participation are truthful.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

I have read and understood Gemic’s privacy policy concerning research participants

“Privacy Policy”

I agree that the personal data I have provided can be processed by Gemic Oy and its clients to the extent necessary for the purposes of the Research.

I give Gemic my consent to use the videos taken during the Research Interview in Gemic’s Research presentations. These may be presented to the client.

I agree to the use of AI powered assistance tools in connection with the processing of my personal data. These include e.g. the creation of automatic transcripts of my interview sessions and recording the session for the purposes of analyzing its contents (e.g. creating summaries thereof). The data collected via the AI tool will be used in accordance with the privacy policy related to the tool and can be disclosed upon request.

I agree that the Research Interview attend may be audio and/or videotaped via Zoom or other video conference tool offered by a third party. I understand that in addition to such recording my session will be documented in writing and it will be observed by research professionals or may be transferred to the client of Gemic. Any recordings or notes made from this session are intended for the internal use of Gemic and its clients and used in accordance with their privacy policies. Zoom and other third party providers will process the audio / video recordings in accordance with their own privacy policies.

The consents provided above may be revoked freely at any time.

OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

I agree that the answers, ideas, opinions that I express and the recordings and notes concerning my participation may be used by Gemic for the purpose of the Research. I acknowledge and agree that all documents produced by Gemic, including but not limited to memoranda, internal research notes, correspondence, emails, and reports generated throughout the project shall be the property of Gemic, and I shall retain no ownership, interest or rights therein. If I send any photographs or videos taken by me (or a third party) to Gemic in connection with the Research, I grant Gemic unrestricted copyright to use these materials without additional compensation.

CONFIDENTIALITY UNDERTAKING

I confirm to understand that the Research, its contents, my participation and any information imparted to me in connection thereof are confidential (“Confidential Information”). I agree not to divulge the Confidential Information or to use the Confidential Information in any manner either tomy own or to a third party’s benefit without the prior written consent of Gemic.

The Confidential Information refers to Gemic’s or its clients’ trade or business secrets or other corresponding business information that Gemic keeps secret and the revelation of which would be conductive to causing financial loss to Gemic or to another entrepreneur who has entrusted Gemic with the information.

The above undertaking does not, however, apply to Confidential information, which:

a. is generally known to the public at the time of disclosure or later becomes so generally known through no fault of the participant;

b. is disclosed to participant by a third party who did not obtain such Confidential Information, directly or indirectly, from Gemic subject to any confidentiality obligation;

c. is required by law, court order or a governmental agency to be disclosed (in which case the participant shall give Gemic as much notice thereof as reasonably practicable and disclosure will be done only to the extent required, and subject to confidentiality protection to the extent reasonably possible).

Documents executed, scanned and transmitted electronically and electronic signatures shall be deemed original signatures for purposes of this Agreement and all matters related thereto, with such scanned and electronic signatures having the same legal effect as original signatures.
