About This Research
You are invited to take part in a research interview conducted by On Running. The purpose of
this research is to better understand runners and their running habits.

● Title: Design Researchers at On Running

What Your Participation Involves
● One video interview lasting approximately 60 minutes.
● The interview will be video and audio recorded.
● No preparation is required on your part.
● Participation is entirely voluntary; you may choose not to answer specific questions and
may stop the interview at any time without penalty.

How Recordings and Data Will Be Used
With your consent, the interview will be recorded. Your data and recordings will be handled
according to the following guidelines:
● Usage: Recordings may be used to review and analyse themes, create written
summaries, and share learnings internally with relevant teams.
● Storage & Retention: Video and audio recordings will be stored securely for up to 24
months. After this period, recordings will be permanently deleted or fully anonymised.
(Anonymised insights may be retained indefinitely for research reference).
● Access: Identifiable recordings will only be accessible to the research team and relevant
internal stakeholders.
● Privacy: Your data will not be shared publicly, published, or used for marketing purposes
without your additional, explicit consent.

Your Rights
The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent, in accordance with UK GDPR
Article 6(1)(a). At any stage of this process, you have the right to:
● Ask questions about the research.
● Access your personal data.
● Request the correction or deletion of your data.
● Withdraw your consent at any time. (If you withdraw consent, we will stop using your
identifiable data and delete the recording where possible).
