Virtual Insight Interview/Focus Group Consent Form

Dear Market Research Participant,

Soon you will join us for a guided discussion to help us develop new and improved ways of fundraising for Diabetes UK. This will be undertaken virtually through Zoom. This guided discussion will be recorded and we will make notes based on our conversation to help us identify opportunities for Diabetes UK to better engage with key audiences.

We won’t share any personally identifiable information outside of the project team at Diabetes UK and select partners who enable us to deliver and facilitate this research (e.g. Roots Research and Zoom). After our discussion, all personal data will be anonymised, and only be used to help us develop ways to engage audiences living with and affected by diabetes and those who wish to support our work. We promise we will never share your personal details with another company for marketing purposes and we promise we will always respect your communication preferences.

In the course of our conversation, we will speak about diabetes, your connection with diabetes, diabetes management and how you have engaged with charities in the past. This will specifically help to inform how we can engage with audiences who have had similar lived experiences. We want to ensure people’s experience engaging with Diabetes UK is as positive as possible. By sharing the information, we’ll be able deliver existing and future supporters a better tailored experience and improve the service they receive. If you do feel uncomfortable at any point or do not wish to answer a question, you can message us or step away from the discussion at any time.

Diabetes UK values your support and promises to respect your privacy. The data we gather and hold is managed in accordance with applicable data protection law.
