Informed consent for participation in research

What this research study is about

We, EY Seren Limited (“EY Seren”), are conducting research into Targeted Support (the “Project”) – a new type of financial support that financial firms might offer by making suggestions to groups of consumers with common characteristics. You have been recruited by Take Part in Researh as a research participant in the Project.

Your involvement in the study

We have provided a summary of how we will be approaching this research below, and we will be glad to answer any specific questions you may have about the Project.

  • The research will take place on Microsoft Teams.
  • We expect the session to last 60 minutes.
  • We will ask you to discuss and share your perceptions regarding the sharing of personal data to receive suggestions on financial products and services, as well as your trust in financial providers.
  • We are conducting this research to better understand customers’ needs and perceptions regarding financial advice and guidance that can help customers to take a step into investing. The findings will inform a research study that may be compiled into a report and shared with our clients.
  • During the research session, there are no right or wrong answers, we’re interested in your own experience – we are not in any way evaluating you.

Your participation is voluntary

You also have the right to withdraw from the study after the session or make a complaint by emailing [email protected] and sharing the reference number, researcher’s name, and the date of your session – shown at the top of this page.
