PHOTOGRAPH / FILMING CONSENT FORM FOR RESEARCH PROJECTS

Description of the Research: We will be speaking to those aged 18-28 years old in friendship paired dyads with online webcam interviews about their behaviour on Snapchat around shopping, to understand how they use the platform for this activity. Prior to these interviews we will be asking you to send us screenshots/Snaps of your relevant shopping behaviours on Snapchat.

Thank you for your interest in taking part in this research which is completely voluntary. If you do take part, and if you give us your explicit consent, audio and video recordings of you participating may take place. These recordings and photographs - including your first name in a caption - may be shared with Snapchat for internal research purposes only. Your information and provided Snaps/screenshots will be shared with Snap and with a third party marketing agency, likely ‘WOW 404’ for internal use only. These screenshots/Snaps will only be used for inspiration and none of your personal identifiable information will be used in any marketing or advertising material in any form. Please note that we may also store the photographs and film footage on our, or sub-contractors’ systems that will be hosted outside of the European Union.

Please be assured that any research footage and photographs will be held by Ipsos UK and client and third party marketing agency (likely ‘WOW 404’) in Strict Confidence solely for the above purposes and will be securely destroyed once no longer needed.
