RESEARCH PARTICIPANT CONSENT FORM

This research is being conducted by Venturebrand with recruitment and scheduling assistance from Take Part in Research. The purpose is to understand people's experiences of boat ownership, including boat purchase, moorings, and maintenance.

This research is conducted in accordance with the Market Research Society (MRS) Code of Conduct and UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Your participation

Taking part is voluntary.

You may skip any question.

You may pause or stop at any time without giving a reason.

What the research involves

You will take part in an online focus group discussion. The session will be audio and video recorded to support analysis by the research team.

You will receive a £60 gift card as a thank you for your participation.

Additional colleagues involved with the research project may observe the session live or view recordings afterwards for internal research purposes only. Recordings will not be used for marketing, publicity, or any public-facing purpose.

How we use your information

We collect contact details for administration and information you choose to share.

Responses will be reported anonymously.

Recordings are stored securely for six months then securely deleted unless legally required otherwise.
