You have agreed to participate in a market research study on 24/05/2025
conducted by Ipsos for JT International SA, a company with registered office address at 8, rue
Kazem Radjavi, 1202 Geneva, Switzerland, registered with the Commerce Registry of the Canton
of Geneva under number CHE-105.274.060 (JTI).
By signing this consent, you grant permission for JTI, that acts as the controller of your
personal data, to receive and process your personal data and recording from the research
study, including posting the recordings (or its parts) on JTI’s internal pages that are
accessible only by the authorized employees of JTI group globally. The purpose of data
processing is to help JTI understand preferences and behaviours representative for
larger groups of consumers and to improve JTI’s products.
The recordings include your facial appearance and information you shared during the study
such as name, age, occupation, resident city, purchasing and smoking preferences. The data and
recordings will be processed until you withdraw your consent.
Your personal data is processed in Switzerland, UK and European Economic Area (EEA)
countries.  Your personal data may be transferred to another country. Some of these countries
may not provide the same level of data protection as the EEA and Switzerland. However,
whenever we undertake such transfers, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to
your personal data by ensuring at least one of the safeguards is implemented. Please contact us
if you want further information on the specific mechanism used by us when transferring your
personal data to third countries. 
We may share your data with JTI group companies and our third-party service providers acting
on our behalf. All processing will be for research and analysis purposes only.
JTI is committed to protecting and respecting your data protection and privacy rights. We use
appropriate procedures and security features to prevent unauthorised access to the information
we have received, and to prevent your information from being accidentally lost.
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your
information, though these are subject to exemptions.
1. Withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the
lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
2. Request access or a copy of your data.
3. Request correction of your personal data where there is incomplete or inaccurate
information.
4. Request erasure of your personal data where there is no good reason for JTI to be
processing your personal data, or where you have successfully exercised your right to
object to processing of your personal data.
5. Request restriction of processing your information.
6. Request to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machinereadable format or to transmit those data to another controller.
7. Lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data with the relevant
supervisory body, but please allow us the opportunity to resolve your complaints or
queries first by using our details as set out below.
