Purpose of the research

You are being invited to participate in a market research study conducted by Boring Money. The purpose of this study is to collect opinions, feedback, and insights to better understand consumer preferences, attitudes, and perceptions of financial offerings.

By participating in this study, you consent to sharing your opinions and feedback, which will be used solely for research purposes.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

Confidential Information: For the purposes of this study, "Confidential Information" refers to any and all information shared or discussed during the course of the research, including, but not limited to:

Financial products, services, and strategies discussed

Consumer feedback, opinions, and survey responses

Any proprietary, personal, or sensitive data related to financial products, services, or strategies

You agree that all information disclosed during this study is confidential and must not be shared with others, including third parties, competitors, or the public. This applies both during and after your participation in the study.

Non-Disclosure and Non-Use: You agree not to disclose, use, or share any Confidential Information obtained during this market research study with anyone, including but not limited to competitors, media outlets, or other third parties, unless prior written consent is given by Boring Money. You will not use any Confidential Information for personal or business purposes outside the scope of this study.

You agree not to record, copy, or take screenshots of any part of the study, including discussions, documents, or data shared with you.

Participant Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

Participate in the study honestly and provide feedback based on your true opinions, experiences, and knowledge.

Maintain the confidentiality of all information discussed or shared during the study.

Not share or disclose any confidential information outside the study group or with third parties, including any details related to financial products, personal data, or feedback received during the study.

Participant Acknowledgement and Consent

By signing below, you acknowledge that you:

Agree to participate in the interview conducted by Boring Money on behalf of their client.

Agree to have the interview video recorded, with the understanding that the recordings will be used solely by Boring Money for research purposes. These recordings will not be shared with the client or any third parties without prior written consent.

Agree that interviews may be observed by the client and video recordings of the interviews may be shared with the client for research purposes.

Agree that anonymous quotations (from video/audio recordings/transcripts) will be used by Boring Money and the commissioning client in external reporting/press/PR activity. However no personal data or sensitive information will be shared beyond the research team at Boring Money.

Understand that Boring Money will not use any of your financial information, and all data collected is for research purposes only.

Understand that you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time during the study, and that withdrawing your consent will not affect your participation in future studies. If you withdraw, your data will be deleted or anonymised immediately.

Understand that Boring Money will securely store all data collected in compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR regulations. Your personal data will be handled as detailed in the Boring Money Privacy Policy (Privacy policy). Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purpose of this research study. Once the study is complete, your data will be securely deleted after three years or sooner if no longer required for research purposes.

Understand that you will remain anonymous throughout the data reporting process, and you will not be personally identifiable.

Acknowledge that Boring Money will not be liable for any loss, damage, or issues arising from participation in the study, except where such loss or damage is caused by negligence or wilful misconduct.
