Thank you for your interest in this important and confidential survey!
Ipsos UK is an independent research company. Ipsos has been commissioned by the UK Government to conduct some research to explore financial crime. Along with thousands of other people aged 18 or over, we are inviting you to tell us about your experiences, if any, of being involved in or affected by a type of financial crime known as ‘money muling’. Money muling is when an individual moves the proceeds of crime through their financial accounts (e.g., bank accounts, crypto accounts) on behalf of others, sometimes in exchange for payment or other benefit.
Please note that this survey is for those who are 18 years old or above only.
Because the survey is confidential, Ipsos won’t know how you answer any question in this survey and won’t follow up on anything you say. Some of the questions cover sensitive topics such as your health (including mental health), financial situation and involvement in illegal activities. After completing the survey you will be sent a support leaflet, which lists support organisations that you can reach out to if you require help with the topics mentioned in the survey.
If you would like to know more information about the aims of the research and how your data will be anonymised, please read the information sheet provided here and the privacy policy provided here.
Your responses will help policy makers understand more about financial crime and how best to support those affected by it.
As a thank you for completing the survey, a £5 charity donation will be made on your behalf. You will be able to select which charity this donation goes to at the end of the survey.
